How Used Cooking Oil Becomes Clean Biodiesel

GreenOil Collectors helps schools turn a kitchen waste problem into a clean energy solution. Here’s how our program works—from bottle to biodiesel:

Step-by-Step:
🏠 1. Families Collect at Home
We provide each student with a 1-liter GreenOil bottle. At home, families pour their used cooking oil (cooled and filtered) into the bottle after frying or cooking.

🏫 2. Students Bring It to School
Full bottles are returned to special collection bins at school. Each bottle is tagged to track which class contributed.

🚛 3. We Pick It Up
GreenOil picks up the bottles on a scheduled route. We weigh and record the amount collected by each class.

🏭 4. It Comes to Our Facility
The oil is taken to our local GreenOil facility, where it's filtered and processed to remove food particles and impurities—preparing it for biodiesel conversion.

🏆 5. Schools Get Rewarded
Schools can choose between cash payments, supplies, or prize rewards for top-performing classes. Every liter supports school fundraising and eco-education.
